Accompanying the readable translation of the Common English Bible, 80 women from diverse backgrounds have written reflections and articles on the many women- named and unnamed- that are part of the biblical story.
Far from being a Bible wrapped in pink and flowers, the CEB Women’s Bible tackles difficult passages and sensitive issues with thoughtfulness and theological vigor. And it’s all done in a very readable way, accessible to everyone. I truly hope women will find the reflections to be informative and helpful as they seek to faithfully and honestly read scripture.
