Cinderella at the ball. You sound absolutely Buechner-esque, my friend. Completely agree on Moltmann’s appreciation of the Spirit. Have also appreciated Stan Grenz’s writing about the Spirit as the very essence of love between the Father and the Son: not an arrow pointing between the two, but the core of what binds the Trinity together.

I really enjoyed your post today Danielle. The Holy Spirit’s relegation to the back corner of the theological corner has always made me uncomfortable. Maybe I should be reading more Moltmann as well. I look forward to reading your other reasons for loving this gifted theologian.
